Who Can Benefit from Life Coaching?
Life coaching can benefit anyone who feels stuck, wants to improve their quality of life, needs direction to accomplish a goal, wants to work on their overall well-being, or wants to live a life that is an expression of their deepest beliefs.
What should I expect to get out of working with Kimberly?
As someone who is certified as a Yoga and Life Coach - Kimberly focuses on creating a space that is authentic, seeking, and intentional. Each client comes seeking a different end to the process; clients have experienced at least one of the following outcomes:
Change in mindset
Actionable milestones towards goals
A deeper sense of alignment between beliefs and lived experiences
Shift in identity awareness
Greater curiosity
Clearer sense of direction
Greater overall well being
What would a typical session be like?
Your work with Kimberly will begin with a grounding or visualization exercises to bring presence to the work you are going to approach together. An intention for the session is agreed upon and then the work begins. Typically, the work involves:
Listening to the client organize and share their experiences and desires
Keeping present and highlighting the relevant content with which to work deeper
Questions to encourage specificity of insights and directions
Measurable achievement milestones that are sketched out and committed to
Accountability towards the goals and desires that the client identifies for themselves
Is Kimberly a Psychologist?
Kimberly has a PhD in developmental psychology but is not a clinical psychologist and does not offer therapy. Coaching is about looking forward and working towards greater alignment between a client’s ideal self and their lived experience.
What kind of training does Kimberly have?
In addition to training as a Developmental Psychologist, PhD., Kimberly has received training on the Design Your Life protocol from the Stanford Life Design Lab at Stanford University. Kimberly is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and seeks continuing education consistently. Kimberly received a certificate of completion in the Yoga and Life Coaching Training. While all of this is on paper, the greatest “training” has been her experience in living life as an educator, mentor, mom, and person in recovery.
What are the different kinds of services that Kimberly offers?
Kimberly currently offers one-on-one coaching and group workshops for Life Alignment.
How do I set up an initial meeting with Kimberly?

How much does a session cost with Kimberly?
The consultation is free. During your initial appointment, pricing options will be discussed.
How can I reschedule a meeting with Kimberly?
Check your initial confirmation email and locate the rescheduling link. If you’re unable to locate it, email Kimberly for rescheduling options or use this link.
How/where will we meet?
Coaching sessions are currently conducted via Zoom. A link will be sent in your appointment confirmation.
What do I need to do to be ready for my first meeting with Kimberly?
There is no need to prepare for your first session, and it’s okay if you aren’t sure what you want to discuss. Your session will be productive. After your first session, there will be expansion activities that you will be encouraged to complete on your own time in order to maintain momentum and increase the depth of your experience.
Is there a lot of extra work to be done outside of our meeting times?
As is the case with so many things, you will get out of this process what you put into it. There is as much or as little work as you wish for there to be. Some clients just want to have the coaching session be the work, while other clients are looking for additional experiences. Additionally experiences will always be encouraged, but never required.
Can I expect to have counseling in addition to coaching?
No, Kimberly is not a counselor and is not trained in therapeutic practices.
Is this a form of therapy?
No, coaching is a forward/future-focused experience that utilizes your own resources while explaining your tools and providing an encouraging environment. Counseling typically applies theoretical frameworks to resolve, navigate, and understand previous experiences.
